Drinking Water at the Correct Time

Another little tidbit that's new to me.
Always knew to drink a lot of water, but who knew the timing affected things.

Drinking water at the correct time maximizes its effectiveness on the Human body:
2 glasses of water after waking up helps activate internal organs
1 glass of water 30 minutes before a meal - helps digestion
1 glass of water before taking a bath - helps lower blood pressure
1 glass of water before going to bed - avoids stroke or heart attack

就连喝水都讲究对的时间。。哈哈。。那么人不更是咯。。。
对的时间,对的人。。 哈哈。。

失眠知多少?

随着年纪的增长,失眠的机率似乎也会随之增长。。
年纪大了,开始发现人真的会老了。。岁月真的不留人的。。
要保持青春美丽,年轻不老,身体健康还真的是每个小细节都不能忽视。。

啊~~为什么人要老啊?

虽然是个白痴的问题,但有时不得不问出来也。。
而在很多须知的小细节当中,
我个人最看重是睡眠素质。。
曾经看过这样的报导--失眠知多少?

而失眠的定义则是:
1. 持续每晚须花上大概30分钟才能入睡。
2. 入睡后比预期时间早醒。
3. 整夜多梦/睡醒后像是没睡过一样

(我好像都有也。。。=_____= ||||.......)

而会有这种问题通常是:
1. 压力大
2. 易紧张、情绪低落
3. 有肩颈痛症问题者
4. 忧郁症、焦虑症患者

(这。。我都还好啦。。。 哈哈。。)

还好,有告诉我们一些好睡的按摩方法:
1. 手压后脑 - 双手放于后脑,轻轻力压向下,维持10秒。
2. 轻推下巴 - 站立勿寒背,双手用轻力推下巴,感觉颈后收紧,维持10秒。
3. 单手侧头 - 单手放头侧,轻力拉,交替维持10秒。

我自己有试过,感觉还不错。。哈哈。。

还有其他的安睡方法如:
1. 在睡前进行伸展动作,放松紧张的肩颈肌肉,每个动作维持约10秒。
2. 花生、乳酪、核桃和香蕉等食物有助舒缓压力,平日多摄取,有助改善失眠问题。
3. 用合适的枕头:如5尺3寸高度的人,宜选择约两寸厚的枕头;而5尺6寸以上的人,则需要3寸厚的枕头,才有足够的衬托力。
4. 安静的环境较容易入睡,可在睡前30分钟播放柔和纯音乐,有助于放松心情。
5. 若躺在床上超过30分钟仍未能入睡,便不宜纠缠下去,应起身走动或饮水,分散注意力。
6. 未咨询医生意见前,切勿自行购买服食安眠药,因可能导致药物上瘾,令睡眠素质变得更差,甚至影响记忆力。

哇。。。还真多东西咧。。。

Reasons for Sleeping & Waking Up Early.

晚上9-11点 :为免疫系统(淋巴)排毒时间,此段时间应安静或听音乐
Evening at 9 - 11pm : is the time for eliminating unnecessary/toxic chemicals (detoxification) from the antibody system (lymph nodes). This time duration should be spent by relaxing or listening to music.. If during this time a housewife is still in an unrelaxed state such as washing the dishes or monitoring children doing their homework, this will have a negative impact on health.

晚间11-凌晨1点 : 肝的排毒,需在熟睡中进行。
Evening at 11pm - 1am : is the detoxification process in the liver, and ideally should be done in a deep sleep state.

凌晨1-3点 : 胆的排毒,亦同,需在熟睡中进行。。
Early morning 1 - 3am : detoxification process in the gall, also ideally done in a deep sleep state.

凌晨3-5点 : 肺的排毒。此即为何咳嗽的人在这段时间咳得最剧烈,因排毒动作已走到肺;不应用止咳药,以免抑制废积物的排除。
Early morning 3 - 5am : detoxification in the lungs. Therefore there will sometimes be a severe cough for cough sufferers during this time. Since the detoxification process had reached the respiratory tract, there is no need to take cough medicine so as not to interfere with toxin removal process.

凌晨5-7点 : 大肠的排毒,应上厕所排便。
Morning 5 - 7am : detoxification in the colon, you should empty your bowel.

早上7-9点 : 小肠大量吸收营养的时段,应吃早餐。 疗病者最好早吃,在6点半前,养生者在7点半前,不吃早餐者应改变习惯,即使拖到9、10点吃都比不吃好。
Morning 7 - 9am : absorption of nutrients in the small intestine, you should be having breakfast at this time. Breakfast should be earlier, before 6:30am, for those who are sick.. Breakfast before 7:30am is very beneficial to those wanting to stay fit. Those who always skip breakfast, they should change their habits, and it is still better to eat breakfast late until 9 - 10am rather than no meal at all.

半夜至凌晨4点为脊椎造血时段,必须熟睡,不宜熬夜。
Sleeping so late and waking up too late will disrupt the process of removing unnecessary chemicals. Aside from that, midnight to 4:00 am is the time when the bone marrow produces blood. Therefore, have a good sleep and don't sleep late.

用餐後不要做的事

近来收到不少转贴的email都是关于健康的小提示,就觉得应该借此告知所有人,看来我以后可会多了个‘健康小站’咯~~

* DON'T SMOKE - Experiment from experts proves that smoking a cigarette after meals is comparable to smoking 10 cigarettes (chances of cancer is higher).
* 不要用餐後抽煙 - 專家的實驗證實用餐後抽煙比一般時間抽10根香煙有更高的致癌機率。

* DON'T EAT FRUITS IMMEDIATELY - Immediately eating fruits after meals will cause stomach to be bloated with air. Therefore take fruits 1-2 hours after meal or 1 hour before meal..
* 用餐後不要立即吃水果 - 用餐後立即吃水果將導致胃部因空氣而腫脹。因此在用餐後的2小時或是用餐前1小時吃水果是比較理想的。

* Don't drink tea - Because tea leaves contain a high content of acid. This substance will cause the Protein content in the food we consume to be hardened thus difficult to digest.
* 不要在用餐後喝茶 - 因為茶葉通常含有高酸性。這種酸性物質將導致我們所攝取食物中所含的蛋白質變硬,因此會比較難消化。

* Don't loosen your belt - Loosening the belt after a meal will easily cause the intestine to be twisted & blocked.
* 用餐後別鬆開你的腰帶 - 用餐後立即鬆開腰帶將讓你的腸子容易糾結和阻塞。(這個觀念怪怪的,不曉得有無翻譯錯誤?)

* Don't bathe - Bathing will cause the increase of blood flow to the hands, legs & body thus the amount of blood around the stomach will therefore decrease. This will weaken the digestive system in our stomach.
* 不要在餐後洗澡 - 洗澡時會使得血液流向手、腳和我們身體的其他部位,因此會減少胃部中的血液量,這將會使得我們胃部的消化能力變差。

* Don't walk about - People always say that after a meal walk a hundred steps and you will live till 99. In reality this is not true. Walking will cause the digestive system unable to absorb the nutrition from the food we intake.
* 飯後不要散步 - 大家總是說'飯後走100步可以活到99歲'。但是那個觀念是錯誤的,用餐後的走動將使我們的 消化系統沒有足夠能力從我所攝取的食物中吸收足夠的營養。

* Don't sleep immediately - The food we intake will not be able to digest properly. Thus will lead to gastric & infection in our intestine.
* 用餐後不要立即睡覺 - 這樣我攝取的食物將沒有辦法得到適當的消化,因此可能導致胃部和腸部的感染。
